Who can access the hiring tracker?
Every user can access the hiring tracker as TeamOhana was designed for collaboration! We find that hiring managers and Talent leaders use it most often, while Finance teams rely on the Budgets & Forecasts view.
Can we track backfills and internal transfers here?
Yes. The hiring tracker is your source of truth for the hiring plan, no matter the employee type.
Does TeamOhana connect to existing spreadsheets?
No, the idea is to eliminate your manual headcount spreadsheets altogether – and that’s exactly what our customers do. All of their planning and management happens in TeamOhana, no more spreadsheets.
How does the Hiring Tracker get informed by my spreadsheets?
When you first sign on with TeamOhana, we will ingest any existing spreadsheets that contain your headcount plans. From then on, you won’t need to maintain any spreadsheets, as all headcount management will be done in TeamOhana – including planning using the Scenarios module.
Can we track contractors and FTEs here?
Yes, TeamOhana tracks hiring progress for your entire workforce, including full-time employees (FTEs), part-time employees, and contractors.
How is this different from an ATS?
While the ATS is the system of record for all open positions, TeamOhana is the source of truth for your headcount plan, including open positions in the ATS, approved roles not in the ATS (TBH headcount), and budget envelopes. TeamOhana is designed for use by all stakeholders – Talent, Finance, hiring managers, executives – to track hiring. TeamOhana integrates with every applicant tracking system to ensure the hiring plan updates in real time, as hiring progresses.
