What changes trigger an approval workflow in the system?

TeamOhana recommends approval workflows for at least four different types of changes: net new headcount requests, change requests, internal transfers, and terminations.

How can I see what changes have been made and who has already approved a headcount request?

Every headcount record in TeamOhana comes with a detailed audit log that includes dates, times, and actions associated with the headcount. Just access the audit log to see what approvals and changes have been made to a headcount request.

How do approvers know when they have requests in their queue?

TeamOhana’s Homepage provides a roll-up view of all pending requests and approvals that need to be reviewed. We also can send notifications and enable 1-click approvals directly from Slack

Can I make a change to something that is already approved?

Yes you can make changes after a headcount has been approved. This is simply known as a change request and it triggers a separate approval workflow before it is merged into the plan.

How do I get approved salary bands into my requests?

TeamOhana ingests your compensation information so that when a new headcount is created, we can auto-populate the compensation fields (with the appropriate load factor). This simplifies requests for your hiring managers as they do not need to locate the salary bands anytime they make a request – TeamOhana does it for them.
