TeamOhana has raised $7.5 million in seed funding, led by Lerer Hippeau and Collide Capital with participation from Sierra Ventures and Recall Capital. Combined with a $4 million pre-seed round from October 2022, the company's total funding now stands above $11.5 million.

TeamOhana helps companies including Scale AI, Vercel, and Zip manage headcount, compensation, and workforce planning in one platform. Customers have cut manual work by more than 90 hours a month and reached full compliance on budget-impacting changes.

The new funding will scale TeamOhana's agentic AI workforce planning platform, currently in beta, designed to act as a co-pilot for Finance teams as hiring plans and market conditions shift.

"Companies today struggle with chaotic, spreadsheet-driven headcount planning, leading to costly mistakes," said Tushar Makhija, co-founder and CEO of TeamOhana. "We're not just improving old processes. We're building a new way forward."

Customers already using TeamOhana have seen concrete results. SeatGeek cut time spent on workforce management by 23 hours a week and avoided $200,000 in overspend. IonQ tripled its hiring velocity and saved roughly $594,000 a year. Metronet saw a 7x return after cutting the cost of three full-time roles.

Brian Hollins, founder and managing partner at Collide Capital, said the firm is backing a future where headcount management becomes a strategic advantage rather than a spreadsheet exercise.

TeamOhana now manages roughly $6 billion in workforce spend across more than 30,000 employees. With this funding, the company plans to expand its agentic AI capabilities and launch new products, including recruiter and sales capacity planning and a new approach to reorgs.
